The Council is seeking to recruit an Enforcement Officer in the Planning Service. The Post holder will be required to deal with planning enforcement cases, including cases to be taken to prosecution within the Bradford District. You will also be required to investigate breaches of Planning control, and initiate appropriate action. A driving licence is required to complete site visits when a breach is reported. You will work within the Planning Enforcement Team and be expected to work closely with colleagues dealing with Planning Applications. A good understanding of the Planning process is essential.
The role of planning enforcement makes a significant contribution to the regeneration of Bradford District and the achievement of sustainability, ensuring the best practicable level of customer service and contributing to the achievement of corporate and service targets.
